Oatmeal, brown rice, fruits and vegetables are foods that are high in fiber. You should try to get between 25 and 30 grams of fiber every day. Not only does fiber help keep you feeling full, but it also helps keep your blood sugar level stable. Blood sugar spikes cause food cravings. Furthermore, foods that are high in fiber are typically low in calories.

Exercise

Exercise and a healthy diet go hand in hand. You should try to get 60 minutes of exercise every day. You do not even have to go to the gym to exercise. Riding your bike to work, walking to the grocery store and taking the stairs instead of the elevator are some of the different ways that you can get some physical activity into your day. It is important to remember that you do not have to exercise 60 minutes at one time. You can exercise for 20 minutes in the morning, 20 minutes during your lunch break and 20 minutes in the afternoon.
